Season 2B of The Sarah Silverman Program begins Tuesday October 21st at 10 P.M. on The Comedy Network. This is a strange unreality TV comedy show that is odd enough to be a bit of an acquired taste and fun enough to be addictive. Silverman, of Jesus Is Magic fame, plays an odd and irreverent pixie who goes through live with friends Brian and Steve.
Season 2B opens with High, It’s Sarah. Sarah gets stoned, goes on a few strange adventures, and does what every stoner has dreamt of remembering to do: leave messages to herself about the deep thoughts she gets wile high. She also goes on a few adventures with Brian, one of which involves kidnapping a CEO (badly played by Gary Marshall). Of course things go way over the top. The ending is absolutely surreal.
For some reason, there is a musical reference to Errol Morris’ Thin Blue Line
Episode 2 of this series is “The Mongolian Beef”. Sarah sues Mongolia for reparations and Steve’s movies get an interesting audience.
The Sarah Silverman Program is better than its star. It is odd and different enough to be refreshing. It is also smart enough to know it is popcorn for the brain.

The Sarah Silverman Program Season Two A on The Comedy Network: I am not a fan of Sarah Silverman but the Sarah Silverman Program is quite weird and enjoyable.
