If you know someone who can tell the difference between Linux and Linus, unique and Unix, and Ohm and home this person will very much appreciate Math, Science, and Unix Underpants, a themed FoxTrot collection by cartoonist Bill Amend. The 144 pages of this comic strip collection features the best and math and science humor strips in FoxTrot history. This book will make a great nerd birthday or Christmas present.
Math, Science, and Unix Underpants strips usually focus on Jason, the nerd in the Fox family. Strips usually involve Jason acing math tests, programming his computer to do something self-serving, or supposedly helping sister Paige and brother Peter. Strips go way back to the earliest ones.

The cool thing about this FoxTrot collection is you do not have to be a math or science genius to appreciate the humor. I am sure it helps though but I will have to ask someone who passed high school physics.
The strips here also focus Paige facing the supposed learning experience of dissecting worms and frogs and Peter and Paige studying for many math and science exams.
It is most refreshing to see a comic strip that does not dumb down to the audience. Anyone who appreciates smart humor will appreciate Math, Science, and Unix Underpants.
Again, this Foxtrot collection makes a great nerd math or science nut Christmas or birthday present.
