The Comedy Network Premium Labour Day Marathon

Premium Stand-up Labour Day Marathon
The Comedy Network
September 4th to 6th 2010

September is a big month for stand-up on The Comedy Network. It really kicks off September 4th with the Premium Stand-Up Labour Day Marathon:

Saturday, September 4 (all times ET and PT). It kicks off at 3 p.m. with Chris Rock Kill the Messenger. 4:45 p.m. The superb George Carlin On Location airs at 4:45 and is followed by the last Carlin stand-up special It's Bad For Ya at 6:30 p.m. These two are can't miss shows

Next up are Russell Peters Outsourced and Red, White, and Brown at 8 and 9 respectively. Outsourced is much better than Red, White, and Brown. The evening closes with a Margaret Cho double-header with Beautiful airing at 10 and I'm the One That I Want at midnight.

Sunday, September 5 has a somewhat weaker line-up with Bob Saget That Ain't Right at 2 p.m. It is followed by The Comedians of Comedy at 3:10. It features Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford, David Cross, Sarah Silverman, and others in a buffet style show.

I find it odd The Comedy Network scheduled Zach Galifianakis Live at 6 p.m. as this guy makes me hurl. He is followed by Jeremy Hotz What a Miserable Show This Is at 7. The evening closes with two Jeff Dunham comedy specials, Arguing With Myself at 8 and Spark of Insanity at 9. Insanity is the better of the two Dunham shows by far.

The Comedy Central Roasts air Monday September 6 on The Comedy Network beginning with The Roasts Most Outrageous Moments at 2:30. You definitely want to watch the Roast of William Shatner at 3:30. This one is really worth watching.

I would skip the Roast of Flavor Flav at 5 and the Bob Saget Roast at 6:30. The Larry the Cable Guy Roast at 8 is fun. So is the Roast of Joan Rivers at 9:30

The Comedy Network Premium Labour Day Stand-Up Marathon closes with the Roast of David Hasselfhof at 11 p.m.

I find it a bit odd The Comedy Network did not include the Jeff Foxworthy Roast but there you go.
