Men In Black is re-released on Blu-ray. Not having seen this Will Smith / Tommy Lee Jones alien invasion comedy in a while I’d forgotten how original and how much fun it was. Needless to say I am most happy this movie is now part of my collection. This version includes loads of cool special features and an ultraviolet digital copy.
Tommy Lee Jones plays deadpan Agent K who works for an ultrasecret branch of the government dealing in resident aliens, real aliens. A young hot shot cop (will Smith) is recruited after an encounter with one of them. He becomes Agent J of the Men In Black. They find out Earth is in danger because a bug species is trying to get a new power source someone hid on it. Their lead bug is played by Vincent D’Onofrio and never has an alien been played with such odd physical conviction.
Can Agent K and Agent J find the galaxy and save planet Earth? Well, there is going to be a MIB 3 so, you know.
