I forget how totally weird, absurd, and usually fun to watch the Comedy Central series Workaholics is until I get the next season box set. Season 4 of Workaholics features 13 very strange episodes on 2 Blu-ray discs. If you are a fan of the show, you are going to enjoy it. If you are unfamiliar with this show and like bizarre, frat-boyish comedy, you just have to try it.
To give you an idea of Workaholics and season 4, the first episode Orgazmo Birth has the guys trying to find a way to get tickets to a rave. This involves getting co-worker Montez out of his wife’s baby shower. Stuff happens and the wife ends up giving birth while her husband is orally pleasuring her. Somehow this all makes sense.
Other episodes have Anders, Adam, and Blake get the telemarketing firm they work investigated by a TV reporter and then blackmailing the reporter not to air the piece. The ending makes absolutely no sense but getting there is kind of fun and very misoginistic as it is revealed equal rights for women include getting punched.
You would think a three experienced potheads such as these guys are would be able to run a weedburrito joint but no. This episode is rather disappointing as is the one where they try to have a koi fish fry.
Workaholics is not a show you can binge watch, especially as Adam Devine is a unidimensional actor and his repetetiveness gets annoying.
