Warner Home Entertainment 2011

The cool thing about owning the website is I am always the answer to who gets the new Big Bang Theory Blu-ray set conundrum. The Complete Fourth Season is superb. While many sitcoms start to show wear and fatigue in their fourth season, The Big Bang Theory is still finding new ways to impress the viewer with its writing and imagination. This sitcom set features 24 episodes on 2 Blu-ray or 3 DVD

The Big Bang Theory The Complete Fourth Season has Sheldon (2011 Emmy winner Jim Parsons) make himself into a machine, find a girlfriend who is not a girlfriend but a girl who is a friend (Mayim Bialik who starred in the sitcom Blossom), acquire a few cats, take up jogging, and ask the eternal question “Why is there never a pontoon plane when you really need one?”

Wolowitz has a ménage a quatre with Bernadette, Kate Sackhoff, and George Takei, finds a new use for a robot arm, gets investigated by the FBI,. Raj gets himself a girlfriend too, sort of.

The one character that is left behind story wise is Leonard.

The New Year’s episode is fun on its own but sucks as a seasonal show.

Look for Dr. Neal DeGrasse Tyson of Pluto demotion fame in one of the episodes.

Special features for The Big Bang Theory The Complete Fourth Season are the stars of the show conducting interviews with each other; The Barenaked Ladies on Big Bang Theory Featurette; The History of Everything Music Video; Gag Reel
