Bummin’ With the Devil by stand-up comic Johnny Taylor is a very good stand-up comedy download or CD.
Those who like dark and autobiographical humor are well served in this 60-minute performance.
Johnny Taylor presents himself as an expert on relationships, having been married three times, having interesting sexting experiences, and a blind date who shared meth with her kid.
An older listener will probably miss musical references to Kings of Leon, Father John Misty, or a band named Fun. Not that takes away from the comedy. This same listener will appreciate the REM vs Poison.
Johnny Taylor Bummin With the Devil also features a good on the road story and a related bit on doing Atheist conventions.
Being a fan of long from stand-up, my favorite tracks on this download and CD comedy album and the closers The End of the Office Job and Arch Enemy (and its ironic ending)
The one low point of this stand-up comedy download is the Donald Trump bit which seems to date to before the election and does not bring anything to the table.
