Weirdo: Live From New York is Donald Glover’s first stand-up comedy mp3 album and CD.
Glover, best known for his role in Community, is a pretty good comic. He does mostly biographical and observational material. He lacks some life experience for the biographical stuff to be really interesting. Weirdo is also available as a DVD and features some adult topics and language.
Donald Glover opens with a few stories about being a comic and having a music CD out. He then starts talking about growing up in a foster home his parents ran. It is unfortunate he does so very little with what sounds like a goldmine of material. There is more material around this in the two bonus tracks.
There are a couple of noticeable tracks on Donald Glover’s comedy CD and MP3 album. One is AIDS vs. Babies. Another is Tiny Hitlers.
