Melinda Hill’s Six Ways to Bomb on America’s Got Talent is the stand-up comedy mp3 equivalent to both the single or the novelty record. This is a one-track download and is entertaining but loses its interest after a couple of listens.
Melinda Hill is a talented comic. She is semireading a story about her experience on America’s Got Talent –there should be a question mark added to that title. It is a funny story and you do laugh with her.
Less pleasant is the recording volume. It is clear this was more a spur of the moment recording than something carefully planned and Stand Up Records always has flawless sound but here the volume of the audience’s laughter is definitely in the red zone.
