I doubt any other comic than Sam Miller can do a segment on how he was homeless and sleeping outside the venue where he is recording his first stand-up comedy album. That alone make Round Trip an interesting and original performance.

There is not a single weak bit on this album and that includes the now unfortunately obligatory Covid routine. In addition to the first twenty minutes of Sam Miller Round Trip, personal faves include Triangles, on big people sex, Dating While Homeless, and the superb and very bizarre Tacoma Dome which blends monster trucks and sex.

Though clean for more than fifteen years, Sam Miller, oddly enough, sounds like Tommy Chong at times, especially at the beginning of the show. It’s so bloody odd.

Round Trip is the best comedy album I have listened to all year.
