2009 has not been that good a year when it comes to stand-up comedy on DVD.
Proof is we could only come up with 6 good titles for our top ten stand-up DVD list for this year. So there you go. The one must absolutely have if you are a fan of the genre is the Make ‘Em Laugh set about the history of comedy.

Chris Rock – Kill the Messenger. The 3 stand-up DVD version with all the other versions of the show. Review

 

Terry Fator Live From Las Vegas.  Much better and funnier ventriloquist than Dunham. Review

  Chris Porter Screaming From the Cosmos. Stand-up comedy CD and DVD Intelligent adult oriented somewhat stoner stand-up. Review

   Gabriel Iglesias I’m Not Fat, I’m Fluffy.  He’s not fat, he’s funny. Cleanest comedy DVD on this list. Review

Jim Jefferies I Swear to God. For Aduls Only. No kidding, adults only, really. Review

  Jimmy Carr Telling Jokes. This stand-up comedy DVD is unfortunately only available in the UK  REGION 2 ONLY. Review
